Parker was terrible the second half of last season. Gave the ball away far too easily, finds it impossible to complete a forward pass and got caught in possession far to often. How he was voted player of the season last year is beyond me. Younes was by far our best player last year. Also did anyone take note of our vast improvement when Parker got injured and Sandro came in to replace him towards the end of the season? Harry’s undoing was his unwillingness or inability to change the team when players were not performing..i.e. Parker and Adebayor.
All this pressure from the media and fans to include Parker when he is fit will be detrimental to the team and might even cause Sandro to seek a move, because surely he is the player who will be replaced. He has been far and away our best player this season. Two seasons in a row he has been dropped after rescuing our season. I dont think he would accept it happening again. So please stop this xenophobic calling for Parker and look out for the best long term interests of Tottenham Hotspur. If you didn’t notice non of the other teams who finished above us for the last 4 years had any interest in Parker whatsoever. Do you think that’s a coincidence?
