We can only afford to go after 1 or 2 players! But I don´t understand this policy of Tottenham, the policy of Daniel Levy, to be specific! Why does not he spend money? The team shows during the last 3 years that they CAN be in the top 3 or 4, and that they CAN play in the Champions League! They do not understand that the squad that we have now it is not able to follow Chelsea or Manchester teams? They have biggest budget than us, they have more money than us of course, but we showed when we played against them that we CAN win them! On Sunday, Man City was far better than us! We have a big problem in the midfield, in the absence of Dembele! If Sandro also get injured in the future then who will play? Tom Carroll is an exciting teenager but not experienced! It is A MUST to sign 1 or 2 players for the center line! Players with creativity and intelligence! Defence is also a problem, it is the 5th match that we concede goal in the last minutes! I´m tired of watching Gallas and Caulker! There is no trust, no one guarantees me that these 2 will solve the defending problems! There are not so good as Kaboul! We should sign a LB and bring Vertonghen as a CB! I believe that we should try and spend as more money as possible in the winter transfer window! Levy and AVB must wake up!

Yes we need some new players but realistically we can only afford to go after 2 or 3 really top buys.
An Isco or Moutinho would be great. Huntelaar would also be great. Add a Bastos, who can cover LB & LW would be good too. With the addition of Kaboul, BAE, Parker & Dembele from injury we would have all the angles covered.

See their figures today? after spending £800 million, they finally made a profit of £1 million.

1) Another CB, no trust at Gallas and Caulker, Dawson not ready yet. Toby Alderweireld would be an ideal option!
2) Maybe a LB for a back-up!
3) Surely a player in the midfield! We need a creative player, like Modric was, and I think:
Isco(Malaga)
Patrick Herrmann(Borussia Gladbach)
Willian(Shakhtar Donetsk)
Christian Eriksen(AJAX)
Anderson(Manchester United)
Adam Maher(AZ)
Marouane Fellaini(Everton)
are some very good options. Dembele also has to come back as soon as possible cause we need him!
4) Definitely a winger! One of the following would be a perfect signing :
Nani(Manchester United)
Nacer Chadli(FC Twente)
Dries Mertens(PSV)
Marek Hamšík(Napoli)
Stephan El Shaarawy(Milan)
5) And a striker surely because If Defoe or Adebayor get injured we will remain with only one striker! There are some good strikers in the market and some of them are:

i think spurs have a gem of a player in their ranks already, which would not having to spend millions.from what i saw in the match against maribor last thursday evening.young carroll i think is already a must.aplayer always makin himself available and setting up attack after attack.modric comes to mind.accepted hes young but hes certainlly good enough and can only get better.

Not sure about teh conclusions. I think AVD will be looking to switch to a 4-3-3. The three in the middle will be – Sandro (defensive), Carol (modric’d role0 and dembele (furthest foward). We have sufficent back up in parker, sigurdsson, livermore, mason and huddlestone. The 3 infront will be – bale, lennon and ade. the back ups being falque, townsend and defoe/dempsey. Given that AVB doesnt really rotate – I dont tink we shoudl but anyone before we sell. But I’d like to stick with youth this season. Im more concerned about the CB positions!

Isco would be the right choice..He is a creative and dynamic player. Plays off mid. can play as backup for wings and could backup as a striker..

Sorry to say but Willian will not come to Spurs @ £25m+. You are dreaming.
