This is one of the problems that is killing the modern game. Why is buying a quick fix always the answer? What is wrong with the idea of development?
Football today is more about money than it is about entertainment. What’s to say a great Striker from the Ukraine or Spain would slot into our side and give us something we’ve been missing? It’s a bit of a lottery. There are so many factors that contribute to a successful club and building from ground up has to be one of them. So although I’d like to see my Spurs playing in the CL next season I can’t help thinking about the confidence we’re draining from an existing squad who are learning about each other, looking solid with the appearance of enjoying their football. Lets have more belief.

What is the role of Dembele? Yes, he is a good player, but one that has been hugely disappointing. He may not have been bought to replace Modric; however, he is there to generate creativity. His passes rarely travel five metres. He gets caught in possession and has yet to provide any attacking threat.

yes u are right. he thinks he is save the club money(yes his is) but he is losing money to. if he got the stiker we needed last january. we would have finished 3rd and in the CL +24m. before the season started Mr Levy said we will only sale mod when we have a replacement.we are not going to finish in the top 4 if Mr Levy dont buy the players them manager wants or needs. we got Ade, what for,his not a what we need of what ad his only going do what he does at all his last club. 8m + wages down the drain. AVB the man for spurs but he can only work with what his got ad we can see he need more to do a good job

I don’t understand how Daniel Levy can sit in the stand week in week out and not know how much we need a striker and a midfielder who can spot that killer pass…it’s baffling. For five windows now Spurs fans have lived in hope that he will sign someone of signifance and not his usual bargain basement buysto save a few quid. This cannot go on as fans are getting wise to Levy and some are already turning on him and are also aware of his false bids for players just to look good and as if he is trying.
