Hull will have to see off attention from West Ham and Stoke if they are to make make Livermore’s loan move from Tottenham a permanent one this summer, according to reports from The Mirror.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined the Tigers on a season long basis last year, and has been a key man in the club’s impressive first season back in the top tier.

Livermore has struck up a good partnership with another Spurs linked player in Tom Huddlestone – who moved to the KC Stadium on a permanent deal from the white half of north London – and has even helped Steve Bruce’s men to reach the FA Cup final to cap a terrific campaign.

Making his stay a full one over the course of the coming months is believed to be a priority at Hull, but now West Ham and Stoke are ready to mount moves.

Despite his impressive displays, Spurs are said to be ready to cut Livermore loose for around £6m, which is seen as good value for a young English player.

Tim Sherwood was believed to be ready to offer his man a new contract, but with the Tottenham manager set to be axed at the end of the season those plans could well be shelved.

Even though he has already opened the door to a move to Hull, the Hammers and Potters are hopeful that a deal can be tied up to snap up the exciting midfielder.
