Sam Allardyce will be sacked by West Ham at the end of the season, according to MailOnline.

Allardyce hasn’t been able to completely win over the Hammers faithful during his three years in charge, despite winning promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking and then keeping them in the top-flight ever since.

But the fans have always found his route-one style football hard to stomach, particularly this season where they even booed the players off the pitch after a 2-1 WIN over Hull.

And it is believed that Hammers owners David Gold and David Sullivan are ready to take action and sack Allardyce after Sunday’s season climax at Manchester City.

It has been a difficult season for West Ham, who spend most of the first half of the season suffering terribly with injuries to a number of their first team players.

But three wins over London rivals Tottenham and a Capital One Cup semi-final, despite being the highlights of West Ham’s season, are thought to have been merely positive blips in a hugely negative campaign.

However, Allardyce could still have a huge say in this season’s title race before he moves on to pastures new. If he can mastermind one more unlikely win for the Hammers against City this weekend, he will hand the Premier League to Liverpool.

But West Ham were thrashed 9-0 on aggregate by City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals back in January, which is why the bookies have made the Hammers 18/1 to take all three points at the Etihad on Sunday.
