There’s no place better to start this list than between the sticks, and with rumours rife that record-breaking Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster could be snapped up by one of his many illustrious suitors in the coming window, ranging from former club Newcastle to Barcelona, the Bhoys are in need of a new No.1 ahead of next season.
According to the tabloids, Neil Lennon has already lined up bosman-bound Arsenal understudy Lukasz Fabianski. The 29 year-old has managed just 31 Premier League outings in seven years at the Emirates, but in terms of quality is more than capable of plying his trade in the SPL.
Furthermore and perhaps most importantly, Fabianski boasts experience in Europe and on the international scene. He’s represented Poland 21 times at senior level, and featured on 14 occasions for the Gunners in the Champions League.
That could prove vital in Celtic’s bid to continue defying the odds in the CL, but with Borussia Dortmund and Stoke City also linked, there will be competition for the Gunners ‘keeper’s signature.
