Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to snap up Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe following his goalscoring display against Manchester City.

The 18-year-old scored his 12th goal of the season when he netted Monaco's second in a dramatic last-16 Champions League first leg at the Etihad Stadium.

The Ligue 1 outfit led twice on the night but ended up leaving the North-West of England with a 5-3 deficit ahead of the reverse fixture at Stade Louis II.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted earlier in the season that he was keeping tabs on Mbappe, and he also likened him to Thierry Henry.

The Frenchman became a legend at Arsenal, scoring 175 Premier League goals in 258 appearances during an eight-year spell.

Mbappe is a long way off matching Henry's talent, but early signs indicate that he has a successful future.

After watching his display against City, Arsenal fans have begged Wenger to get a deal done.

Although, some are not very hopeful.
