Arsene Wenger has reportedly decided that he wants to stay on as Arsenal manager, according to The Mirror.

Plenty of fans have called for the Frenchman to end to his 20-year spell in charge of the Gunners due to the team's constant failure to challenge for the Premier League title.

The North London outfit have consistently qualified for the Champions League, but they could miss out this season as they currently reside sixth, six points adrift of fourth-placed Liverpool, but they do have two games in hand.

Arsenal have lost six of their last nine games in all competitions, and the latest was a damaging 3-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Plenty of questions are surrounding the future of Wenger, whose contract expires at the end of the season, but the man himself told reporters after the game that he has made a decision.

According to The Mirror, that decision is to stay at the Emirates, but it is not set in stone just yet.

The board have continually stood by Wenger and it is believed that a two-year deal is on the table, but the hierarchy are aware of the number of disgruntled fans who want the Frenchman to leave.

The Mirror adds that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez could play a big part in Wenger's future depending on whether they sign new deals or depart the North London outfit.

With media reports leaning to the conclusion that the 67-year-old coach is not going anywhere, fans have given their reactions on Twitter.
