A number of Tottenham Hotspur supporters have tweeted their concern for Harry Kane after manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed that the striker is suffering with a minor groin problem.

The England international, who is the fourth in the list of Premier League top scorers with 13 goals this season, is expected to be rested for this Saturday’s FA Cup fourth-round match against Wycombe Wanderers.

Kane is not the only man expected to miss out, as Toby Alderweireld is still recovering from a hamstring injury, while Danny Rose is nursing a knee problem.

All three suffered the damage during Spurs’ 2-2 draw with Manchester City last weekend, and Pochettino believes that it is best to keep them out of the squad against Wycombe.

While delivering an update to the club's official website the Argentine boss said:

“Toby is better but not available for Saturday. The same for Danny Rose, he had a knock on his knee and is out and Harry Kane, he suffered a small pain in his groin in the second half [at City] and we don’t want to take any risks, so for sure they won’t be available for Saturday but we hope all three will be available for Tuesday.”

Considering that Kane has scored six goals across the last six games in all competitions, some fans are worried about the 23-year-old’s fitness.

It is more likely that Pochettino simply wants fresh legs for the trip to Sunderland next week, but that has not stopped fans from expressing their concerns.
