Britannia Stadium | Built in 1997
Costing almost £15million to build, The Britannia Stadium is a modern Premier League football ground which opened its doors in 1997 replacing the old Victoria Road previously used for the clubs home matches.
The Boothen and Seddon Stands are located on the East and North sides of the stadium and have a capacity of over 14,000 between them, while the main two-tiered West Stand allocates more than 7,000.
Visiting fans are seated in the South Stand which can house up to 4,996. On certain occasions it is segregated to also give home supporters part of the stand.
Tickets / Where to sit
Match day tickets are easy to come by and are priced between £8 and £42 dependant on age and area.

Getting to Britannia Stadium
Train
Supporters can get to The Britannia Stadium by train. The nearest railway station is Stoke-On-Trent which runs on the main line from Manchester to London and also has major links to Birmingham, Crewe and Derby.
When arriving by train on match day, supporters can take a two minute walk to Glebe Street where buses run to the stadium at regular intervals. Turn right out of the railway station and then take another right and go under the bridge. Follow this road and turn left at the end, go down a bank and into Glebe Street. Buses leave on the left hand side next to the church.
On match days in particular there are several buses which run to and from the ground, to find out more visit the clubs official website.

Where to drink
As The Britannia Stadium is located away from many other buildings there are limited public houses in the area, therefore if you like a drink in a pub, calling somewhere on the way to a match could be the best idea. However there is a Holiday Inn and Harvester Pub at the side of the ground and it costs £3 to park at the harvester. There is a Power League Complex close to the stadium with a bar and SKY television. To see who'll be on, take a look on Football Fancast's football on tv guide so you know who of your fantasy football players you'll be cheering on. Opposing team fans are also allowed on the premises and it is £4.50 to park there.
Alcohol is served in the away stand during games but queues can be lengthy.
Where to eat
Fans can enjoy a three course meal in any of the clubs hospitality suites, however, eating in these facilities comes as a package with luxuries including satellite television and a hostess service amongst others.

Hello, hello, We are the Boothen boys, Hello, hello, We are the Boothen boys, And if you are a Vale fan, surrender or you'll die, Cos we all follow the City.

Rivals
When I was just a little boy, I asked my mother what should I be, Should I be Stoke or should I be Vale, Here's what she said to me, Wash your mouth out son, And fetch your fathers gun, And shoot the Vale scum, And shoot the Vale scum, We hate Vale we hate Vale.
