Where to drink
There are no pubs around the stadium. The best option is to locate the nearby Holiday Inn which has a pub next door called Callaghans. The Holiday Inn is around 15 minutes walk from the stadium and can get quite busy.
Where to eat
Directly opposite the nearby Holiday Inn is a popular fish and chip shop. Of course, being one of the few places in the area to eat it can get busy.
There is also a variety of restaurants on the retail park next to the stadium including McDonalds and Pizza Hut.
Where to stay
The Holiday Inn is always a good choice for overnight stays and is reasonably priced - BASINGSTOKE ROAD 500 READING , RG2 0SL ENGLAND
