Two games. 21 goals. Which other cup competition could manage such a spectacular feat in the space of 24 hours? None! That’s the answer you’re looking for. None. Not the Champions League. Not the FA Cup. Heck, not even the World Cup. That’s what makes the Capital One Cup so exceedingly special.

Its charm and appeal born from a streak of wild unpredictability that can’t be matched nor exceeded. We love it and embrace it every single season and this one is no different. Just four rounds have passed and we’ve already indulged ourselves on more thrills, spills, shocks and ‘cupsets’ to last a lifetime.
