Despite the season having only just passed its halfway point, we are already gearing up for the first major final of the season, as Manchester City and Sunderland prepare to do battle for the Capital One Cup.

The two sides have enjoyed memorable, albeit very different, journeys to Wembley, with differing opponents and playing styles giving both sides genuine reason to be proud of their achievements.

Although there has been much talk in the media and both managers have had their say, the game will ultimately be decided by the players who take to the hallowed turf of the national stadium.
