Arsenal fans were unaware just how big a star Cesc Fabregas was going to turn out to be for the Gunners following his first goal for the club way back in December 2003 in a 5-1 fourth round victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Highbury.
A then long-haired young Fabregas made history in the previous round against Rotherham United by becoming Arsenal’s youngest ever first team player, aged 16 years, 177 days and then went on to become the youngest goal scorer against Wolves.
Wearing squad number 57 back then, Fabregas went on to become Arsenal captain succeeding William Gallas in 2008/9 and was part of the Spanish squads that conquered Euro 2008, World Cup 2012 and Euro 2012.
