It’s no secret that the League Cup is today’s primary opportunity for young starlets trying to make their way at Premier League football clubs. The likes of Josh McEachran, Abdul Razak, Ezekiel Fryers and Ross Barkley have recently benefitted from the competition in the earliest stages of their careers.

This year, the Capital One Cup will be no different, and there are a number of talented youngsters – these days, most of them youth internationals – waiting in the wings for their turn in the spotlight.
