Perhaps the most obvious but undeniably the easiest choice for this top 10, Michu’s form for Swanca City since his arrival last summer has seen him become one of the all time Premier League bargain buys.
It cost the Swans a paltry £2.2million to take the Spaniard from Rayo Vallecano to South Wales and while some have suggested that his 15 La Liga goals last season were living evidence he could succeed wherever he went, few could have possibly imagine quite how successful he’d be.
With 13 league goals to his name already, Michu is outscored only by Robin van Persie in the Premier League stakes. It will be interesting to se how he copes now defenses begin to wise up to him but there have ben few better surprise packages in recent memory.
