Manchester United could be shocked this summer to lose the services of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with super-agent Mino Raiola indicating he could move to Napoli.

What's the word?

After arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a huge success at Manchester United with an exceptional scoring record of 14 goals in 21 Premier League matches.

The Red Devils, who signed him on a one-year deal, are keen to extend the Swedish striker's stay at Old Trafford but outspoken agent Mino Raiola has other ideas, telling Italian radio station CRC that he could move to Napoli.

Whilst such a move would come as a surprise, continued links between Manchester United and Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann will not be doing Ibrahimovic's ego any good and he may seek a move to Naples to become the star of the side.

What was said?

As reported by The Daily Star, Mino Raiola said:

"As for Ibrahimovic, he’s always been in love with Naples and the passion of the Neapolitans and I’ve always said that openly because he grew up in a family which was similar to the Neapolitans and then with me,"

“He knows what the love of the Neapolitans means and that passion has always attracted him. I know that [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis knows him, and with Zlatan you never know what could happen.”

Will it happen?

Whilst it would be a surprise, the story certainly has legs in it when you consider the wealth of attacking talent Manchester United possess and the potential arrival of Antoine Griezmann this summer will only intensify these reports.

The Red Devils also boast Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, two young players that they would be advised to stick with over a forward who will turn 36 in the early stages of next season.
