As reported by The Daily Mirror, Manchester City interested in signing Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala this summer.

What's the story?

Despite already possessing some of the best attacking talent in the English Premier League, Pep Guardiola is always looking to progress and sign the best Europe has to offer.

The Mirror reckons that his eye has been cast on Juventus forward Paulo Dybala, who has a £38m release clause in his contract.

The report says though, that City aren't interested in offering as much money as that, only willing to put an offer of £25m on the table.

Whether that lands their target remains to be seen but The Mirror report City have a good chance becaus Juventus would rather sell a player to City than have him end up in La Liga.

A potent threat

Paulo Dybala would be an exciting acquisition for Manchester City fans, knowing that the Argentinian is one of the best young players in Europe. At 23 years old, he still has a decade left in his prime.

He's not all potential though, already getting the job done in Serie A for Juventus. His 31 goals in 69 appearances attest to that.

Able to lead the line as a forward or play in a more withdrawn attacking midfield role, he has versatility that could prove useful to City given their abundance of options in the final third.

He's certainly a potent threat and if he does end up in the English Premier League then the opposition better watch out.
