As reported in an exclusive from The Sun, Sergio Aguero is reportedly unhappy with life at the Etihad and is lining up a summer exit from Manchester City.

What's the story?

He may be one of the greatest City players in recent memory, but it appears life is not so rosy in Manchester for Aguero since Pep Guardiola arrived at the club.

That's according to The Sun, who say that the Argentinian striker is upset with the style of football the Spanish manager is deploying at the Citizens this season.

The paper says that the striker feels he cannot play his best football in Guardiola's high pressing system.

His importance to City

Sergio Aguero was once the first name on the team sheet at Manchester City but under Pep Guardiola he’s had to work hard for a consistent start. That’s never more true than now with the arrival of Gabriel Jesus from Palmeiras.

There’s an argument to say that while Aguero is obviously the more accomplished player, Jesus may just be a better fit in the high pressing, possession based system that Guardiola likes to play.

That said, City should try their hardest to retain the services of Aguero. He’s still one of, if not the most, lethal attackers in the entire Premier League. Despite his ‘problems’ with Guardiola, he’s still managed to score 15 goals this season already in all competitions.

If he can, the Spanish should look to address any concerns the striker has and fit him into the team somehow. He's worth it when on top form.
