As reported by The Daily Mail, four Premier League clubs are interested in signing Genk winger Leon Bailey amid interest from Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga this January.

What's the word?

Leon Bailey is a man in-demand. The Daily Mail are linking a massive eight clubs with his signature this January and chief amongst them are Liverpool and Chelsea.

The two title contenders are ready to up their interest in the young Jamaican winger to this January after interest from the likes of Roma and Bayer Leverkusen has forced their hand, according to the paper.

Genk are said to be open to a January offer that would allow him to stay at his current club until the summer.

Who is he?

Leon Bailey has been one of the standout performers in the UEFA Europa League this season, scoring four goals in six group stage appearances and help his Genk side reach the top of Group F ahead of La Liga and Serie A clubs.

It's that form that's attracted interest from clubs all over Europe. Despite showing the inconsistency of use in league action, scoring just 2 goals across the league campaign, the fact he turns it on when his club are on the big stage will no doubt be impressive to Premier League sides.

It's no surprise then he's attracting interest. At just 19 he has plenty of time to develop and given his progress so far, you could well imagine him fitting in well to Chelsea's and Liverpool's free-flowing wide attacking game.
