Leeds are expecting to land the services of Ashley Fletcher on-loan from West Ham before tomorrow's deadline but it all hinges on whether the Hammers can push through a deal for Scott Hogan, The Daily Mail reports.

What's the word?

Leeds are expecting to land Ashley Fletcher on-loan until the end of the season but a deal for the 21-year-old currently hangs in the balance, as West Ham are only prepared to sanction a deal if Scott Hogan arrives from Brentford.

Fletcher is keen on a move to Elland Road as he eyes more regular first-team opportunities and a fresh challenge, before pushing for more regular football in East London, but the Hammers see Fletcher as an asset to cover against injuries- with Diafra Sakho not back until March.

Until Hogan arrives, Fletcher will be going nowhere and that's a concern for Garry Monk's promotion chasing side, as they're keen to bolster their attacking line and Monk is a big-fan of the young talent.

Do Leeds have an alternative?

Yes. However, they're not the favourites. Leeds are considering Sergi Canos from Norwich City but Brentford are backed as the leading side in the chase to land the Canaries man, with Canos tipped to return to his former side.

Again, that deal would go ahead of Hogan moves to West Ham, with Brentford using the funds to strengthen their side, so we're essentially left with three key transfers for three clubs that all hinge on whether one particular deal is completed.
