World's Longest Competition!

Football FanCast's resident MLS expert Aaron Cummins introduces us to the world of MLS soccer and how in his opinion it is the "world's longest competition". Aaron will keep us up to date with David Beckham's progress as well as the odd contribution about his other great love Arsenal.

30 games over six months. 13 teams divided into two groups. Eight teams eventually advance to the home-and-home, aggregate goal quarter final stage. Four teams make the one-off semi final matches, followed by a single match Cup Final. That’s the format of the longest cup competition in the football universe.
