Dear Football Fan,

I am writing to you to inform you of a terrible happening in
the world of sport. Bizarrely, this does not include Cristiano Ronaldo in any
way. Down in the deep depths of League Two, Luton Town will start the new
season on an unprecedented minus 30 points.

Cheating or gamesmanship? Why football is becoming a non-contact sport!

Football FanCast columnist Sam Hollis looks into the cheating and gamesmanship within the game and feels sanctions must be imposed to act as a deterrent.

When Bastian Schweinsteiger received his marching orders this week, a familiar sigh and complimentary eye-roll was witnessed by everyone looking in my direction. As it turned out, it was a louder sigh and a more catastrophic eye-roll than usual. The German was deservedly sent off, though I do challenge Jerko Leko to watch the footage of his ridiculous reaction to a light shove and not laugh.

FA's treatment of Luton Town doesn't add up

columnist Sam Hollis is furious at the punishment handed out by
the FA, to his beloved Luton Town and feels that something doesn't quite add
up.

‘The Gentleman's Club.'
Fine men in suits, smoking cigars and drinking the finest cognac, every so
often they all share a chuckle at light joke then continue to debate issues
close to heart. However you picture the scene at FA headquarters, there is no
doubt the association has the ability to turn heads.
Arsenal, Liverpool & Everton fans - you think you have problems, then take a look at some clubs in the Football League!

Football
FanCast columnist Sam
Hollis is fed up of hearing the
likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton and Spurs bemoaning their misfortune and
feels that they should take a closer look at what is happening elsewhere in the
football league. You could say somewhat trivia in comparison.

One thing is really grinding my gears at the moment. In
recent weeks, I have noticed a significant increase of extreme moaning. I feel
I have to stick up for the real football fans.

From Chelsea to Huddersfield, Arsenal to Luton Town - When will players start taking responsibility?

Football FanCast columnist Sam Hollis looks at the crazy turnover of managers in the modern game and feels that its time that the players took more responsibility.

If Andy Ritchie is the nicest manager in the game, why was he sacked on Tuesday? Huddersfield Town are sitting quite comfortably mid-table in League One with no danger of relegation; which suggests his chairman had expected promotion. But if you ask Bournemouth and Luton Town fans - they will tell you it could be a lot worse.
