The kind of 'Ayrton' that you wouldn't mind the Arsenal boss spending

FanCast columnist Billy
Pearson feels that Arsenal should
look no further than Marcos Senna as the perfect foil for Cesc Fabregas.

It is has become the most pivotal role in any football team
and their availability about as rare as a Thierry Henry header, but the need for
Arsenal to acquire a top quality holding midfielder has become of paramount
importance, if we have any hope of achieving success.
Should Arsenal adopt a different policy with Ramsey?

Football
FanCast columnist Billy
Pearson is delighted that Arsenal
has beaten United to Ramsey's signature and wonders if the club will learn from
the mistakes with Walcott and reconsider loaning the player out.

If there is one thing that has amused me in the past few days
is the thought of Sir Alex Ferguson getting that phone call informing him that
Aaron Ramsey has decided to choose Arsenal. You can just imagine the face
getting redder, the expletives blurted out and the realisation that in the same
week that the Scot talked about his great disappointment of Gascoigne slipping
his net; once again a North London club has moved in and taken away the prize
catch.
Is it about time that Arsenal were given a break?

FanCast columnist Billy
Pearson is fed up with
the constant media intrusion at Arsenal football club and wonders where they
get their motivation.

What is with the media and Arsenal at this moment?
Every given day, somebody wants a pop at us, devalue us or try to unsettle the
harmony of the club - it is growing increasingly annoying and you kind of wonder
where they get their motivation from.
Should the Arsenal boss take a risk on star's fitness?

Football FanCast columnist Billy Pearson is a great fan of
Robin Van Persie but feels that Arsene Wenger is taking a huge risk in banking
on his fitness for next season.

If there is one player that constantly
frustrates me as an Arsenal fan then it has to be Robin Van Persie. It is not
because of his abilities on a football field but the fact we don't see enough
of him on it. When he does eventually put the No.11 jersey on his back he looks
tremendous, ‘World Class' at times
and I believe a fit Van Persie would have won us the title this year.

Is it time the FA made it policy that only captains can consult with referees?

Pearson feels it is time that referees were given greater respect on
the football pitch and believes that the captain should be the only one allowed
to talk with officials.

If you ever wanted
to be in a position where you are hated by around 30,000 people in one sitting
then become a Premier League referee. It is the most thankless of tasks and in
all honesty isn't helped by the scrutiny of cameras and the open criticisms of
managers and players of them within the media.
