So it hasn’t exactly gone to plan for England in Brazil. Out at the group stage and home before the knockout stages even get going.

We have had some moments, though. Sturridge’s equaliser against Italy was a beauty. Rooney’s first ever World Cup goal was history in the making. The chance to see some of the youngster’s in action was interesting. So it wasn’t all bad.

But all the positives were matched with negatives. And during England’s final game with Costa Rica, albeit a bit of a dead rubber, we saw Costa Rica’s Brian Ruiz embarrass Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere so easily, it’s wrong.

In fact, Costa Rica made Group D look so easy it’s wrong. And the below clip sums up the respective campaigns of both sides this summer…
