Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard has revealed the latest information regarding the availability of his players as the Englishman's side look to make it four consecutive wins in the Premier League with victory at West Ham United.

What's the latest?

According to Gerrard, Villa have no new injury concerns with long-term absentee Marvelous Nakamba still unavailable.

Ahead of Thursday night's 3-0 win at Leeds United, the 41-year-old said: "We're in a good place. We've got the majority of the team fit and available, there's only Marvelous who we are waiting for to come back into the group."

"Nakamba is going to be another three to four weeks."

The B6 outfit welcomed back left-back Lucas Digne for the trip to Elland Road as well as Carney Chukwuemeka whilst Ezri Konsa returned from suspension after picking up a red card in the reverse fixture against the Whites.

Digne slotted straight back into the side for Ashley Young, with the £25m January arrival from Everton already making a major impact at Villa Park.

West Ham will be scared

After a shaky period of one win in eight games across all competitions, the Villans have enjoyed an excellent turnaround over the past two weeks, winning three in a row whilst scoring nine goals and keeping a clean sheet in each match. As a result, the news that Villa have almost a clean bill of health will surely scare an out of form Hammers side.

West Ham have lost their last three matches in all competitions and have won just once in their last six outings with their grip on the top-six starting to look more feeble.

The Hammers do, however, have the chance to consolidate their position in the European places with a victory after seventh-place Tottenham lost 3-2 at Manchester United yesterday.

However, David Moyes will certainly fear the threat that Aston Villa could cause them with every match for the Scotsman's side over the remainder of the season now crucial for their hopes of re-qualifying for European competition.

As for Villa, Europe isn't completely out of the question, however, Gerrard will more likely be focused on securing the club's first top-half finish in the Premier League for 11 years with the Second City outfit currently 11th in the league table.
