In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie has revealed the advice that he has given to Jack Grealish.

Grealish has been in fantastic form for the Villans this season, both scoring and creating goals. In 22 Premier League appearances, the 25-year-old attacking midfielder has six goals and 10 assists to his name, making him truly indispensable to Dean Smith's side.

He is also averaging 2.8 dribbles per game, one of the highest averages in the division (per WhoScored), which is another display of his attacking threat.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Grealish is Villa's main man, a role Hendrie has told the England international to relish.

"I spoke to Jack when we were away and I just said to him, you know, 'don't ever be fazed when you're on that block. You're there to be the main man,'" the ex-Villa player told FFC. "He's pretty much shown that he is the main man at the club. It's now about making him an even better player."

If reports are to be believed, then Villa are at risk of losing their main man this summer. According to Football Insider, Manchester City are lining up a huge bid for Grealish as Pep Guardiola looks to strengthen his squad.

As for players who could be arriving at Villa Park in the next transfer window, The Telegraph reports that the Midlands club are keen to sign a winger and a striker.
