According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are preparing to move for Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Dion Sanderson during this summer's transfer window.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Cardiff City and has started their last three Championship matches.
As it stands, the Englishman is due to return to his parent club this summer, but according to Football Insider, Villa are interested in signing the defender on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.

As expected, a number of Villa fans have been reacting to the news, and there has not been too much positivity surrounding a potential swoop.
Two supporters even claimed that the team were simply preparing for the Championship by looking to sign Sanderson.
As it stands, Dean Smith's side are 19th in the Premier League table, although it remains to be seen whether the campaign will actually be completed.

However, one fan claimed that he was impressed by Sanderson's performance for Wolves against Villa when the two teams met in the EFL Cup back in October.
