Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is in the form of his life at Bayern Munich, scoring nine goals in three appearances.
Lewandowski, the former Borussia Dortmund forward, heroically scored five goals in nine minutes last week for the Munich side.
The striker famously turned down a move to Blackburn Rovers in 2010, which could have resulted in massive change in fortune for both parties. The Rovers currently sit 18th in the Championship.
Elsewhere, Aston Villa youngster Jack Grealish has announced that his long-term international loyalties lie with Roy Hodgson’s England side.
Grealish, who represented Ireland at Under-21 level, confirmed that he wanted to play for the country of his birth and is looking to push on for Tim Sherwood’s side to break his way into the Three Lions’ squad.
Roy Hodgson is set to announce his squad for upcoming internationals on Thursday.
