Erling Braut Haaland is currently on top of the world and Borussia Dortmund are definitely prospering from the youngster’s incredible run of form.
The German team welcomed Paris Saint-Germain to Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night and despite a very difficult game, they managed to seal a 2-1 victory for the return leg in a couple of weeks.
And the 19-year-old Haaland was at the centre of everything good for Dortmund once again, scoring a brace and leading them to victory in the process.
Gary Lineker couldn’t get enough of the youngster and had to dedicate a tweet to him, raving about his insane statistics in the ongoing season.
It’s actually 39 goals this season. Forgot to add on tonight’s brace. Ridiculous. https://t.co/k1mHomeoLA

Even though Lineker did get the total number of goals wrong the first time around – since Haaland has so far scored 39 times in 2019/20 across all competitions and not 37 – that only makes this achievement that much more impressive.
The young lad has only played seven games for his new team but has already bagged 11 goals along the way, while scoring ten and assisting one in the Champions League alone.
By all means, we’re talking about a future superstar and only the sky seems to be the limit right now…
