Well, if Peter Lawwell wanted any vindication of why he’s backed Neil Lennon, it’s been perfectly summed up in the last few weeks.

Although Celtic are still miles off the pace in the SPFL, they have now won four games in a row. That includes a historic Scottish Cup final victory over Hearts.

The Hoops weren’t at their best in that clash and in typical fashion, blew a 2-0 lead. They had Conor Hazard to thank, however, for his penalty heroics.

Lennon’s men followed that up with a comfortable 2-0 win over Ross County where David Turnbull scored his first league goal for the club after arriving in the summer.

Though, despite the nature of that victory, we’re tipping the Bhoys to make three changes for their trip to Hamilton on Boxing Day.

We reckon that Lennon will change formation for this game and consequently, goalscorer Leigh Griffiths drops out.

The Scot has scored in successive games now but we want to somewhat mirror the XI that started against Hearts a week ago.

That means that Odsonne Edouard leads the line on his own with the trio of Ryan Christie, Turnbull and Mo Elyounoussi behind him.

The Norwegian didn’t play against Ross County but we reckon he’ll come back into contention on Saturday. Thus, Callum McGregor drops back into a more familiar midfield role alongside Scott Brown.

Ismaila Soro has been a breath of fresh air to this Hoops side but after Brown was dropped for their victory on Wednesday evening, the skipper comes back.

The only other change we’re tipping is at left-back where Greg Taylor – starter in the cup final last week – replaces Diego Laxalt.

The Uruguayan played in the win over Ross County but drops out once more in favour of rest and rotation. This has been a busy festive period and the Hoops need to ensure they come through it unscathed.
