With Ange Postecoglou's Celtic side being one of the busier teams in the January transfer window, the makeup of the 56-year-old's Bhoys side has changed rather drastically.

In terms of incomings, Celtic landed the signings of five new players, with all of Matt O'Riley, Reo Hatate, Yosuke Ideguchi, Johnny Kenny and Daizen Maeda linking up with the Greek-Australian manager's side.

Regarding outgoings, Adam Montgomery, Conor Hazard, Liam Shaw, Osaze Urhoghide, Ewan Henderson and Kerr McInroy all departed Parkhead, albeit on loan deals.

So, with a total of 11 players either joining or leaving the Hoops this winter, what does Postecoglou's best starting XI look like following the closure of the January transfer market? Here's how we think the new-look Bhoys could lineup.

While Celtic have very rarely had a fully-fit first-team squad this season, with Postecoglou's side being plighted by a host of injuries, should all of the 56-year-old's players be available for selection, it is clear that the Hoops now boast an exceptionally talented starting XI.

In defence, while no new signings were brought in this winter, the return of Christopher Jullien from a long-term knee injury sees the Frenchman take the place of Carl Starfelt alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers at centre-back.

Meanwhile, considering Anthony Ralston's extremely impressive form on the right of the back four in Josip Juranovic's absence earlier this season, the Scotland international gets the nod at right-back, while the Croatian starts ahead of Greg Taylor on the left.

In the middle of the park, Celtic now have fantastic depth, with Reo Hatate, Callum McGregor and David Turnbull most likely being Postecoglou's first choice three-man pairing.

However, with Tom Rogic, James McCarthy, Nir Bitton and Ismaila Soro all being options in central midfield, as well as new signings O'Riley and Ideguchi, the 56-year-old manager now appears to have a wealth of choice in an area of the pitch that has been something of a problem position at points of the current campaign.

It is a similar case in attack, with Kyogo Furuhashi - who had been deployed at centre-forward in the first half of the season - moving to the left of the front three in order to accommodate Maeda, while Jota moves over to the right flank.

This means that there is no place for Liel Abada in the XI, despite being dubbed an "outstanding" talent by Stilyan Petrov and having scored 12 goals and registered eight assists over his 36 appearances for Celtic, while Mikey Johnston, Karamoko Dembele, Giorgios Giakoumakis, Albian Ajeti and Johnny Kenny make up Postecoglou's other attacking options.
