Celtic have been quite busy in the ongoing summer transfer window but it seems that Neil Lennon is not exactly ready to stop just yet. The Hoops' quest for their 10th Scottish Premier League title is what keeps them going and for that reason, the squad will need to be as stacked as possible.

And now, according to an exclusive report from The Scottish Sun, Lennon is plotting an incredible scoop in the form of Queens Park Rangers' Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The 22-year-old winger is out of contract next summer and can even be snatched up for free if the Bhoys sign a pre-contract with him in January. However, they are hoping to seal a cut-price deal and get him in the ongoing window for a reported price of around £5m.

Samuel is extremely highly rated and it seems there are clubs from the Premier League also keeping tabs on his situation. The same outlet mentions Crystal Palace as potential bidders and for that reason, making this transfer happen could be easier said than done.

But even if Lennon ends up paying a small sum for the player, it would still be completely worth it. Samuel is one of the players for the future but has the ability to make an impact right here and right now as well.

Queens Park Rangers aren't exactly thrilled to be losing such a young star but with his contract slowly but surely running out, they won't have much of a say in the matter.

Verdict

Samuel is fast, technical and has an eye for a goal as well. For that reason, he would be a breath of fresh air in the Hoops' forward line. Not to mention that Lennon's current troopers can't exactly offer such an output.

But that also means getting him over to the club won't be an easy operation at all.
