Celtic are back in action this afternoon for another Premiership clash as the league champions look to continue their winning start to the season.

Today sees the Hoops take on Hearts at Parkhead after sealing a convincing 5-0 win over Kilmarnock last weekend.

In terms of what Ange Postecoglou's starting XI could look like against the Jam Tarts, here's our prediction, with two changes anticipated from last week's romp at Rugby Park.

Starting off in goal, having played in three of Celtic's league games, it would be a shock to not see Joe Hart line up once again as he looks for his third clean sheet of the season.

In defence, we predict that Postecoglou will stick with the same two full-backs who started at Kilmarnock, with Greg Taylor on the left and Josip Juranovic on the right. As for the two centre-back positions, we think that Cameron Carter-Vickers will start, but with a different partner on this occasion.

After starting last weekend, Moritz Jenz had to be taken off with a suspected injury in the 55th minute, which led to Carl Starfelt replacing him and seeing out the remainder of the match. With that in mind, we predict that Postecoglou will give the Sweden international his first start of the campaign to complete the defence.

In midfield, with club captain Callum McGregor and Matt O'Riley both starting all three league games so far, we think that the duo will keep their places in the team again.

For the final midfield place, Postecoglou revealed in his recent press conference that Reo Hatate is available for selection after being out with injury. Taking that into account, we can see the Japan international coming in for David Turnbull, who cost the club £3m from Motherwell in 2020.

For the three attacking positions in the starting XI, with four goals and five assists between them in the league, it would make sense for Postecoglou to stick with the trio of Jota on the right wing, Kyogo Furuhashi through the middle and Daizen Maeda on the left.

Whether or not the Australian goes with this starting XI, it could still be a tough test for the Hoops this afternoon, as Hearts are yet to lose a game in the league this season.
