Celtic will be hoping they can channel the same energy that saw them beat Motherwell 4-1 as they travel to Easter Road this afternoon. The Hoops return to Premiership action as Hibernian play hosts to the reigning champions, who are in hot pursuit of current league leaders Rangers.

Neil Lennon has had a difficult season as his team have been cursed with injury issues and cases of coronavirus. However, the international break has shown a lot of positivity, particularly from out of form Odsonne Edouard. The Frenchman netted a brace against Switzerland in his recent appearance for France U21s and the Hoops boss will be hoping he can rediscover his electric influence in front of goal.

With international performances in mind, here's how Football FanCast has predicted Celtic to line up against Hibernian...

Despite only registering one assist in his last five appearances, Edouard could return to the starting XI with his confidence lifted. He will be supported by regular choices Mohamed Elyounoussi and Ryan Christie who have both been in impressive form lately. The latter secured a historic win for Scotland recently as his goal helped the Tartan Army qualify for their first major tournament in more than two decades.

However, after Olivier Ntcham's strong substitute against Motherwell, it will be an insult not to start him. The £14,000 per week Frenchman netted Celtic's fourth goal of the game and he could be a strong option for supporting Edouard in attack.

Luckily for the Hoops, Jeremie Frimpong escaped an injury against The Well and is fit to play, according to Lennon's recent updates. However, Kristoffer Ajer is out and will likely be replaced by Shane Duffy despite the fact he has been inconsistent throughout this season. But with solid makeshift defender Nir Bitton at his side, the Bhoys will have a good chance of keeping a clean sheet as they vie for three important points.
