Celtic have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of their upcoming Europa Conference League fixture.

What's the latest?

That's according to a claim made by Kieran Devlin, with The Athletic journalist revealing in a recent Q&A that Josip Juranovic, who has missed Celtic's last two fixtures due to illness, will be available for selection for the Bhoys' first-leg Conference League clash against FK Bodo/Glimt this Thursday.

In response to a fan asking why the right-back had been absent, Devlin said: "Had an illness [but] will be available for Thursday."

Fans will be buzzing

Considering just how impressive Juranovic has been since his £2.5m move to Parkhead last summer, the news that the Croatia international will be available for the visit of Bodo/Glimt later this week is sure to have left Bhoys fans buzzing.

Indeed, over his 20 Premiership appearances for the Hoops, the £3.6m-rated defender has already helped his side keep eight clean sheets, scored two goals and created four big chances for his teammates, as well as making an average of 1.4 key passes, one interception, 1.6 tackles, 1.5 clearances and winning 3.1 duels per game.

These returns have seen the £16k-per-week 26-year-old average a quite astonishing SofaScore match rating of 7.25, ranking him as the joint 10th-best player in the entirety of the Scottish top flight.

As such, while it is true that Anthony Ralston has impressed when called upon this season, it is clear for all to see that the return of Juranovic will come as a huge boost to Celtic's chances of securing a first-leg victory at Celtic Park on Thursday night - a result that could well mark the beginning of an exciting European cup run for Postecoglou and his side.
