Celtic have another Premiership match ahead of them on Saturday afternoon with a home clash against Ross County, after securing their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup last Monday with a 3-0 win over Dundee United.

With this previous game in mind and the Hoops having the chance to take a step closer to securing the league title, it's safe to say that Ange Postecoglou's side will be well up for this fixture in front of their home fans.

On the chalkboard

In terms of which players the Celtic boss could select in his starting XI to take on County, who are currently five places and 37 points behind the Hoops in the Premiership table, one man who wasn't involved in the recent cup game but we feel should be in the team on this occasion is Liel Abada.

Having missed Monday's clash through illness, Postecoglou said that the 20-year-old - who he described as an "aggressive" player - will be available for tomorrow's league clash.

Since arriving at Parkhead last summer from Maccabi Petah Tikva, the attacker has played in 46 games for the Hoops across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists along the way, showing just how much of a prominent attacking figure he has been for his new club.

With 29 league appearances under his belt, the £4.05m-rated winger is currently Celtic's top Premiership scorer with nine goals to his name along with six assists. Nobody else in Postecoglou's squad has contributed to more top-flight goals this term.

Taking this into account, it's safe to say that if the Israel international is fit enough to play tomorrow, he certainly has what it takes to terrorise Ross County, who have conceded 47 goals in the league this season, leaving only rock-bottom Dundee with a worse defensive record.

Also, with fellow winger James Forrest ruled out of the match on Saturday, this could well pave the way for the Celtic boss to throw Abada back into action to see if the attacker can continue his impressive goalscoring season and take his side closer to the league title.
