Aston Villa fans blast Jedinak performance once again

Jonathan Kodjia scored twice – including a stoppage-time leveller – as Aston Villa continued their unbeaten start to the 2018-19 Championship season with a 2-2 draw at home to Brentford on Tuesday night.

Villa have now collected eight points from their first four league matches of the campaign, and head coach Steve Bruce will be encouraged with what he has seen thus far.

There does appear to be an issue in defence, however, with 34-year-old Mile Jedinak once again selected alongside James Chester at centre-back.

On the face of it, it is not too difficult to see why Bruce has placed Jedinak in that position.

Indeed, the vastly experienced Australia international stands at 6ft 2in, and is certainly a strong physical presence.

Jedinak has looked uncomfortable and clumsy at centre-back, however, and the Villa fans cannot believe that Bruce is continuing to select the Australian in that area of the field.

Indeed, a number of frustrated Villa supporters took to Twitter on Wednesday night to air their views, and a selection of the responses can be seen below:
