Aston Villa fans lavish praise on Snodgrass following QPR clash

Aston Villa moved into fifth position in the Championship table with a 2-1 win at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

A double from Albert Adomah secured all three points for the visitors, who will look to make it back-to-back victories when they welcome Chris Coleman’s Sunderland on Tuesday night.

One player that particularly impressed for Villa was Robert Snodgrass, who is currently on loan at the Championship club from West Ham United.

The 30-year-old, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, showed his class in a midfield position, and there is no question that his performance was vital in Villa picking up the win.

Snodgrass has scored three times in 12 Championship appearances this season, and it seems that many of the Villa supporters are desperate for him to sign on a permanent deal.

Following a tweet from the Scot at the weekend, the Villa fans were out in force to pay tribute to his latest performance.
