Aston Villa have struggled for consistency at the start of the new season, staying in the running for promotion but not quite setting the world alight.
Steve Bruce’s side are set for a number of final tweaks in the transfer market before the loan window slams shut on Friday and exits are also on the cards as well as potential new additions at Villa Park.
One player who has seen an exit confirmed is Aaron Tshibola, who has returned to Scottish side Kilmarnock on loan for the entirety of the 2018-19 season in order to earn more regular playing opportunities.
The 23-year-old midfielder has accumulated just eight Championship appearances since joining the club in 2016 from Reading, surpassing that tally in his stint with Kilmarnock last term as he earned 12 league appearances in Scotland.
It is not clear where Tshibola’s long-term future lies but Aston Villa fans shared their reactions to the move on social media and we have gathered some of the best responses below.
Can’t you take Micah, Ross, Henri, Scott and Mark with you because you’re all a waste of talent and space?

Mate hope you have a good season. Hopefully by the time you return, this dinosaur of a manager will hopefully be gone and you and the rest of the youngsters may finally get the chance you deserve. All the best

Gutted AGAIN you’ve been forced away, as if you need ‘game time’ you need to get out of this poison, you have so much potential
