According to HITC Sport, a number of League One clubs are interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Jake Doyle-Hayes on loan for the remainder of the season.
Doyle-Hayes joined Villa at the age of 14 back in 2014, and signed a professional contract with the club last September.
A three-time Under-19 Republic of Ireland international, Doyle-Hayes appeared in the EFL Cup first round against Yeovil Town earlier this season, and made the bench for Villa’s Championship clash with Nottingham Forest at the end of last month.
The 19-year-old is seen as a potential first-team star at Villa Park, but it is unlikely that he will see much football between now and the end of the season.
According to HITC Sport, League One clubs are queuing up to sign the teenager on loan, and Villa are open to the prospect of a short-term move.
The Villa fans have been on social media offering their views on the situation, and many believe that he should be allowed to leave on loan:
Will be good for him. Like with Mitchell Clark, they will both be good for us in the future

Would be a good move, look how it toughened Grealish up and helped create the player he is

Seems a good player. League 1 will help toughen him up ready for first team ??

Let him go, in my career mode he’s 26 and only 66 rated yet asks to play first team football when we are in the premier league, so I don’t like him
