Aston Villa fans want Thierry Henry to replace Steve Bruce

Aston Villa have taken nine points from their five Championship matches at the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

Villa started the season with back-to-back wins over Hull City and Wigan Athletic, but have drawn their last three against Ipswich Town, Brentford and Reading.

The club are out of the EFL Cup, however, having suffered a 1-0 defeat to Burton Albion in the second round of the competition on Tuesday night.

The loss to Burton did not go down well with the Villa supporters, and many took to social media after the match to criticise head coach Steve Bruce once again.

Bruce is currently getting a rough ride from the Villa supporters, and now many have called for the former centre-back to be sacked, with Thierry Henry coming in.

Henry was linked with Villa earlier this summer, and he will not be taking charge of Bordeaux despite being strongly linked with the French club.

Henry is currently the assistant manager of the Belgium national team, but the Villa fans want him to become their new boss.
