The German-born 23-year-old is currently plying his trade for Besiktas in Turkey, whom he represents at international level, after leaving the Blues as a youngster to join Hamburg in search of first-team football.
Although he failed to make the grade in London, Tore has shone since moving on and is considered to be on of the Istanbul giants’ key players.
And reports claim that Villa have been alerted by his performances on the wing, with a move being pondered.
It’s understood that scouts from the Midlands club were in Turkey to watch Besiktas beat Fenerbahce 3-2 last week, and have been suitably impressed by Tore.
The same report also reveals that the wide-man’s team-mate Oguzhan Ozyakup, who spent some of his early career at Arsenal, is also on Villa’s radar.
