The Belgian international has been a big hit since his summer arrival at Villa Park, netting 17 goals in all competitions.
Despite only switching to the Midlanders last year, speculation is already mounting that he could be on the move once more.
A number of top clubs from England and across Europe are said to be interested, and are reportedly willing to test Villa’s desire to keep hold of the 22-year-old at the end of the current campaign.
Benteke’s agent confessed earlier this week that his client could be tempted by a move to Inter Milan, but stories are now circulating that he will stay with the Villains, but only if they avoid relegation.
Villa are currently 17th, only three points above the drop zone with Wigan, who are directly below them, having a game in hand.
Should the Latics win this fixture, they will leapfrog the Paul Lambert’s man.
Benteke is said to be happy with his role at the club, where he is considered to be a key first-team player.
As well as Inter Milan, Premier League rivals Tottenham are said to be interested, and could make a move with a striker their top priority in the transfer market.
