Steve Bruce has led Aston Villa to a mini revival since taking charge at Villa Park, with the club now four games unbeaten and winning two of those matches.
Now sat 15th in the table and six points behind the play-off spots, the former Hull City boss has made no secret of his target for the club this season as he’s aiming an immediate return to the Premier League.

Having led Birmingham City and Hull City to the Premier League twice each, the former Manchester United defender is certainly the right man for the job but he still has his work to come in the coming matches.
Villa face a struggling Blackburn Rovers side this weekend, which gives them the perfect chance to continue their fine vein of form, before a challenging test after the international break against second-placed Brighton.
Finishing November with another winnable game against Cardiff City, Villa will be aiming to be in the top-half of the table and on the verge of the play-off spots heading into December but, in such a fiercely competitive league, they can take nothing for granted.
