Aston Villa scraped through to the play-off final by the skin of their teeth after a penalty shoot-out victory over West Brom on Tuesday evening.
Despite winning, the game revealed a major fault in Dean Smith’s team. Their wingers simply weren’t good enough, with Andre Green turning in an average display and Anwar El Ghazi also failing to impress.
As such, Villa fans have been debating who should start on the flanks at Wembley and they’ve all been saying the same thing.
The one name on everyone’s lips is Jonathan Kodjia who supporters want to see start from the off after appearing from the bench at the Hawthorns.
One fan called him the obvious option whilst another claimed that the final could be the stage for the Ivorian.
Which wing he would play on was also debated with some individuals determining that he should play from the left with El Ghazi on the right.
Kodjia has been in good form of late, scoring three goals in his last six outings. It’s been timely for the forward who had found himself behind Tammy Abraham in the pecking order.
In total this term, the 6 ft 2 striker has found the net on nine occasions.
Here’s the best of the discussion.
Right wing is our weakest position. Neither Green nor Albert cut it for me. DS needs to pull a tactical rabbit out of the hat at Wembley. Kodjia is the obvious option

I think one winger EL GHazi and Kodja as the other forward, i think Wembley could be the stage for him
