On manager Neil Warnock’s 70th birthday, his Cardiff City side delivered him the precious gift of three Premier League points in dramatic fashion.

The Bluebirds beat fellow newly-promoted side Wolves at the Cardiff City Stadium to secure a victory that lifted them out of the relegation zone.

Aron Gunnarsson’s second half strike cancelled out Wolves’ opener, which had been netted by Matt Doherty. Then, in the 77th minute, Junior Hoilett gave Cardiff the lead with his first goal of the season.

It was truly a goal deserving of settling the match, and Cardiff will be delighted to have secured their third league win of the season.

After the game, plenty of Bluebirds fans took to Twitter to congratulate Hoilett on his stunning goal…
