Charlton fans have taken to Twitter to wish Macauley Bonne well, after the striker posted an update on his international availability for Zimbabwe.

The former Leyton Orient attacker – who joined Charlton back in the summer – was selected to represent the Zimbabwe national team ahead of the upcoming international break.
However, the 24-year-old – who has scored five goals this season – will be unable to travel and take part in the games against Botswana and Zambia on the 15th and 19th November respectively.
Bonne mentions that he will be unable to add to his one cap for Zimbabwe due to “unforeseen medical grounds”.
After seeing his tweet, a number of Charlton fans on Twitter have wished Bonne well following this personal setback.
One supporter said that they were “really gutted” for Bonne, whereas another fan attempted to reassure the striker in saying that there will be “another opportunity”.
Let’s take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction…
Hope whatever the cardiac issue is, is fixed mate. Speedy recovery, you’ve played so hard for the badge in every game and we can’t ask anything more. CAFC love you.
