According to a recent Football FanCast poll, the majority of Charlton fans believe that Lyle Taylor is worth between £1m-£2m based on his strong current form, with 41% thinking he should be valued at £3m or more.
The Addicks signed Taylor on a free transfer during the summer window after his contract at Wimbledon came to an end, and he has proved to be an inspired addition with 12 goals in 18 games in all competitions so far this season.

The 28-year-old striker scored 55 goals over three seasons for his former side Wimbledon, helping them to promotion from League Two by scoring in the play-off final against Plymouth Argyle at Wembley in 2016.
The second most popular result in our poll was between £4m-£5m, so it’s quite clear that the fans have differing opinions, although this is most likely down to the state of the current market.
One thing that Addicks fans will be united on though is the hope that Taylor will stay at The Valley beyond January.
