Derby County have officially finalised their second signing of the summer. Kieran Dowell arrives on a season-long loan deal and will be looking to reinforce the team's midfield.

The England U-21 international also comes with a certain dose of experience despite his young age. After helping the Blades win promotion while on loan with Sheffield United last season, he will surely be hoping to replicate that feat with Derby.

He made his debut for Everton back in 2014 and has enjoyed success on loan both with Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest, but his biggest achievements have come with the national side.

After advancing through the ranks, Dowell became a member of the Young Lions' team that won the Under-20 World Cup two years ago in 2017.

Now, he has taken to

Of course, he was immediately welcomed to the Rams and wished good luck by many teammates, players and friends.

England teammate James Maddison was among the first ones to post a reply in a rather relaxed and humorous mood.

Manchester United's Dean Henderson also commented, posting a series of emojis to show his support.
